How long does it take before the number is active?
Once the order process has finished, the number is active immediately. The number will appear in your control panel. You will not be able to dial the number until you route the number to a landline, mobile or fax and if call credit is required please top up from within your control panel.
Are there any annual or monthly charges for a UK number?
There is a one off purchase fee for UK Numbers. There are no annual or monthly charges on the Pay As You Go package, there is a monthly rental on the Monthly inclusive minute packages.
Are there any annual or monthly charges for an International number?
If you signup for an International Local number or International 0800 number these have a setup, monthly fee + call charges.

Can I have a Welcome Message played before the call is transferred to me?
Yes - Dial our prompt recorder on 0845 387 8000 and record your prompts.
Record a custom "Welcome Message" i.e Welcome to NodeMax, please wait while we connect you.
Record a custom voicemail "on Busy" message.
Record a custom voicemai "on no answer" message.
On the voicemail you can let the system play a default message or you can record a custom message.
You can record an Intro / Welcome message ot let it go straight to transfer.
Is a Freephone number free from all networks?
You can dial a Freephone number from most fixed line operators for free, this includes BT, cable & wirless, Virgin Media, BSkyB, generally all
fixed line operaors, I am not sure of any in the Uk who charge a fee.
Mobile operators generally charge to connect to 0800 freephone numbers, this is due to the mobile oeperator and not due to TNDW.
Is there an answering machine service?
Yes there is an answering machine service on all numbers. You just need to enter your email address for the messages to be sent to.

Yes you can. We charge 1 pence per fax.

Yes you can have as many NGN's routed to the same landline number as you wish.

What is a Voice to Email Service?
It is when a person leaves a message on your virtual answering machine and we forward the voice file to your email address.

What is a Fax to Email Service?
We receive faxes on your behalf and we forward these faxes either in .TIFF or .PDF format to your email address.

Can my Non Geographic Number be dialled from abroad?
Some can, it depends on the country and the non geographic number type. You would need to dial +44 and drop the leading 0 of your non geographic number. Example, +44 872 005 9000.

How much do numbers cost?
Numbers are free on most of the non geographic ranges with a few exceptions for the numbers which are very easy to remember. Numbers for 0800 and geographic numbers have different prices depending on how easy to remember they are.

Can I get invoiced every month for my call charges?
No. We run a pay as you go system where you top up your account which enables your calls to be routed to other numbers.

If I Top Up, when is the Call Credit added to my account?
After the credit card has been cleared your call credit is added to your account immediately.

What is the minimum Top Up amount?
£25.00 + VAT. per account so if you have 10 numbers in one account you only need to add a minimun of £25.00 which will be shared by alll your numbers.
You can Topup Up by Credit Card or Direct Bank Payment. Both Bank Payments and Credit Card must be minimum of £25, anything less will incur an admin fee of £5

Is there a Call Connection charge?
No there is not a call connection charge.

Your call will not be disconnected. Your balance will end up in a minus.

No, call balances do not expire.

Can my number stop working in "mid conversation" if my Call Charge Balance reaches zero?
No your number does not stop working in mid conservation. When the call finishes your account will have a minus balance.

Do I need to make a deposit to use a Freephone number?
Your account balance has to be positive.

Can the caller tell that the number is routed to another number?
No. The caller does not know the number has been routed to another number. Call routing is transparent.

Are there any charges to change the routing of my number?
No. You can change the routing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no charge.

Do I have to pay call charges?
Some numbers you do and some numbers call charges are inclusive. For example if you take an 0845 or 0871 number then you can call 01 & 02 landlines inclusive. If however you take an 01, 02 or 0800 number call charges apply for all destinations.
